15. Connecting to the PSTN (00:28:40)
There are some environments where your company has invested heavily into PSTN-based phone systems and PBXs. Don't panic! You can use them in your new Lync Server 2013 environment! Integrating with a Mediation Server and making sure to have the right Gateways and PBXs can go a long way in making your life easier.
16. M:N Interworking Routing (00:26:18)
When it comes to getting outside your SIP comfort zone, you'll need a Mediation Server to help. In the past, it could be difficult to have any true redundancy and resiliency.
